D2nc allows a machine operator to quickly describe almost any shape and generate the g-code for it in the shop at the controller.

The concept behind D2nc is to use a simple Shape Description Language (SDL) to describe a shape. The shape is processed along with machine, material and tool constraints to produce a numerical control g-code file.

There are only a few basic commands in the SDL which have the power to describe almost any shape. The above table is a summary of the SDL. The full SDL definition can be found in the documentation

From release 1.3, D2nc supports DXF import as a shape source. Each shape can have a different source, SDL or DXF, allowing you to build a component from a mixture of shape sources. For example, you can use a DXF to define the profile of the component and SDL to define the holes to be drilled.

D2nc currently works for Mill only. You can download a fully functional copy which will work for 15 days. After that you need to purchase a license key to generate g-code.
